Privacy Policy
Last updated October 4, 2026
HealthPilot helps you understand your health reports and Apple Health data. This policy explains what data the app uses, why, and the choices you have. In short: we use your data only to create your results. We don't sell it, show ads, or track you.
Your account
You sign in with Apple. We receive a private identifier from Apple and, if you choose to share them, your name and email (which can be a private relay address). We use them only to run your account and to reply to messages you send us. When you delete your account, we also disconnect HealthPilot from your Apple ID.
Data we process
- Apple Health data, if you allow it: a 30-day summary of activity, sleep, workouts, heart measurements, body measurements, blood pressure and blood glucose, plus your date of birth and biological sex. HealthPilot only reads Apple Health data. It never writes to it.
- Health reports you upload: the PDFs and images you choose are read and analyzed on your iPhone. Only the structured results (summary and test values) are saved to our server. The original file stays on your iPhone.
- Medications you add, label photos and dose logs are stored only on your iPhone; medication names are added to your profile so supplement suggestions can be checked against them.
- Food checks: when you scan a product while shopping, only its barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts to look up the product. Label photos are read on your iPhone, and your recent checks are stored only on your iPhone.
- Profile details you enter: for example age, sex, height, weight, goals, conditions, medications, allergies, diet preference, smoking and alcohol use.
- Results: the report analyses and plans created for you.
How we use it
Only to create and show your results: report explanations, health insights and your supplement, food and exercise plan. Your data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with data brokers.
Feedback and purchases
When you report a problem or send feedback in the app, we receive your message, app version and device model. If you buy HealthPilot Pro, Apple handles payment; the app tells us only which plan you have (free, monthly or lifetime).
Website analytics
Our website uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. The app itself has no analytics or tracking.
Service providers
- Apple Intelligence analyzes reports and writes plans on your iPhone, using Apple's on-device model. This data is not sent to us or to any AI company for analysis.
- Open Food Facts, a free public food database, receives the barcode numbers you scan (nothing else) to return product facts.
- Vercel hosts our server and Neon hosts our database, both in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you delete it. You can delete a single report by swiping left on it. To delete everything, open Settings (your avatar at the top left), tap your account, then Delete account. This removes your account, profile, reports, health summaries, plans and feedback links from our database right away, and your medications, check-offs and report files from your iPhone.
Children
HealthPilot is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Not medical advice
HealthPilot provides educational information. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Always talk to your doctor before changing medication, supplements or training.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
